The company Nidec Press & Automation, one of the divisions of the global automotive supplier Nidec, announced the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of its site in Querétaro, together with company directors and authorities.Participating in the groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion were Enrique Michelena, Regional Sales Director, Nidec Minster Mexico; Samuel Cárdenas, Head of Public Notary No. 46 of Querétaro; Eloy Sashida, General Manager Nidec Minster Mexico; Greg Martin, executive vice president of operations; and Alejandro Sterling, Director of Industrial Development of the State of Querétaro.With this expansion, Nidec Press & Automation will quadruple the size of its current service facility in Querétaro. The expansion is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. Once completed, the expanded facility will house an additional 8,600 square meters of production space, for a total area of 20,000 square meters across the entire production site. Other important improvements will be the increase in crane capacity and new machining equipment.
